We hire canoes and kayaks on the most stunning section of the river Wye, the beautiful Wye Valley AONB(Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), a stunning place for any great adventure trip, we are in optimal location for you to take in the best of the scenery, run the Symonds Yat rapids and passing through Symonds Yat at lunch time allows you to stop there for a lovely riverside pub lunch appreciating the natural beauty of the valley. We provide transport to ferry you and your boat to your drop off or pick up location. Trips typically either start or finish from the town steps next to Monmouth Rowing Club. There are a range of starting locations available depending on how long you want to hire for, Hire period for canoes and kayaks range from 1/2 a day to 6 days.

Canoe and Kayak hire prices include transport, helmets(on rapids trips), buoyancy aids, paddles, dry storage barrels, map, briefing, helmets compulsory for U18's, optional for adults.

We provide Canoe & Kayak hire and Canoe Trips on the River Wye 7 days a week during spring and summer, autumn subject to river conditions.
Halfday Trips: 09:00-13:00 or 13:00 - 17:00
Fullday Trips: 09:00-16:00
Note: Youth groups and large stag or hen groups we can only do as Instructor guided river trips.

Monmouth to Whitebrook River Wye Trip(1/2 Day Trip)

A great half-day afternoon river Wye trip, 5 miles, about 2 hours steady paddle, mini rapids take you towards Redbrook where you pass the famous Boat Inn, we pick you in Whitebrook in the field, listen carefully to the briefing so you don't miss it! This is the best trip for those who just fancy an easy time or are relatively new to canoeing, a great taster.

Ross-on-Wye to Monmouth River Wye Trip (2 day)

A nice two day trip on the river Wye, allowing plenty of time to appreciate breakfast and the evening campsite. Depending on where you decide to stay, it gives a day of around 9 and a day of around 11 miles. You pass through Symonds Yat the pubs and rapids on day 2. Welsh Bicknor YHA has camping and traditional indoor accommodation.

If you like to paddle a lot and cover distance this is a great 2 day river Wye extended trip, if you stay at Welsh Bicknor you will have a 19 mile and an 11 mile day. It can be done as 3 easy days, stopping after 10 miles in Ross-on-Wye on night 1.
