Rafting in the Nepalese Himalayas - Adventure River is proud offer 'Exploring Wild Himalayan rivers' with Ultimate Descents Nepal. The Himalaya’s are home to some of the worlds longest and biggest white water rafting rivers, they all have fantastic white water, beautiful beaches for camping and are surrounding by outstanding scenery and colourful culture.
You can journey from 1 day to 12 days of scenic floating or full-on huge waves and rapids, whatever suits you. If you are planning a stag or hen trip, a group re-union or would like to join on as an individual Ultimate Descents Nepal are the most established professional operator in the Himalaya, all guides have SRT (International Swift Water Rescue) certification and years of experience and training to make your trip, one of a lifetime. For kayakers you may join trips or employ a raft & guide to support you down the river so you may paddle empty or play kayaks.

Adventure River, Courses – We provide an extensive range of courses in canoeing and kayaking, from beginner to advanced, traditional canoe to white water kayak, there is something to suit every taste. Certified British Canoe Union Courses are also provided. Our instructors are highly experienced and qualified in their sport and in coaching kayaking and canoeing, this comes from passion and enthusiasm from which you are sure to be inspired. They have paddled canoes and kayaks down thousands of miles of river all over the world. Courses are normally on the River Wye, other than advanced courses, unless you would like a course run where you are?
Adventure River, River Wye canoe & Kayak Trips & hire - The River Wye has its source high in the beautiful mountains of mid-Wales, here from the same point, the River Severn flows to the North and the River Wye to the South weaving its way in and out of Wales and England down the historic border.
Descending the river by canoe is the best way to experience the natural beauty and amazing history of this ancient region, visit castles in Hay-on-Wye (the town of books), Goodrich and Chepstow. Visit Hay-on-Wye, Hereford city and Cathedral, Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth, Tintern abbey & old riverside Inns all along the way. You may go from a couple of hours to a week, there is 100 miles possible. We provide canoes, kayaks, guides, transport, planning and logistical expertise to make your trip simple and highly enjoyable.

Adventure River Coaching, from one
hour to several days, depending on the level of development required. Courses
are structured and build towards the final desired outcome. Courses are
tailored to not just develop your skills but also to make candidates 'riverwise',
knowing how to safely descend a river.

We also provide professional canoe & kayak coaching instruction by experienced qualified instructors. we can provide you with any equipment required. Experience adventure activities from a single hour lesson to a multi-day canoe trip. Adventure River activites was founded by Will Smith, it was born from enthusiasm and passion for canoeing, kayaking and rafting, exploring worldwide river environments and adventure trips.
